This SIG panel will focus on companies’ expansion into China, as well as international investment within China.
As the world gets smaller, investors are coming to the US from all parts of the world to look for sound investments in emerging companies. This session of the Going Global Special Interest Group (SIG) series will focus on the interests of foreign investors when partnering with emerging US companies, and the considerations of growth-focused companies who partner with globally-focused venture capitalists.
As part of our ongoing Going Global Special Interest Group (SIG) series, we are pleased to offer a panel on business and investment in China. For this SIG panel session, we will explore such issues as:
- Best practices for doing business in China.
- Differences in investment strategies of Chinese and US investors.
- Considerations for cross-border partnerships and ventures.
- Trends and norms for the future in Chinese business.
Panelists will include international VCs with experience working in and investing in companies in the US and China. Attendees can expect to hear real life stories from experienced investors and obtain practical guidance based on their experience.
