Event Sponsor: Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati
The convergence of high-speed Internet networks and next generation sensors and the adoption of health care diagnostics and communications paradigms has created a unique opportunity for new mobile health services. The growth and adoption of healthcare informatics and big data has led to enterprising new medical diagnostics, monitoring and treatment approaches delivered to the home and across regions with limited healthcare infrastructure.
Experts contend we are at the very beginning of a new era in healthcare that will transform how we interact with doctors and obtain care. In an age where healthcare costs are trending up to 20 percent of the U.S. GDP and a significant portion of cost involves chronic disease management in patient populations.
Join the Emerging Technology Forum and leading start ups, healthcare and other experts for an in-depth evening panel discussion exploring the trends, innovations, challenges and investment opportunities in this important area.
