The Top Tier Showcase: DFJ Featuring Steve Jurvetson —————————————— by Corporate VC SIG Chair David Ai, Vice President, Hitachi Corp.
VC Task Force's Top Tier Showcase is our event that brings top-tier VCs in front of the corporate VC community to share their portfolio companies and their view on technology innovations. The immediate benefit is to for these top-tier VC firms to help their portfolio companies to build strategic and financial relationships with the best corporate VCs. Long-term, such a routine and mutually beneficial gatherings should also enhance the way corporate VC and mainstream VC professionals interact on future deals.
Each Top Tier Showcase will feature one or more top-tier VC firms, where they highlight for the audience - corporate VCs - their selected portfolio companies whose technologies may be of interest to such corporate VCs. Each company's introduction is a short (3 to 5 minutes) description of the technology, executive team, financing history, operating status, and other relevant information. Direct participation by the executives from such portfolio companies is not necessary.
