The FDA is on the road to creating a new regulatory landscape. On October 26th, Latham & Watkins LLP is pleased to host a video conference featuring Amit K. Sachdev, FDA Deputy Commissioner and John R. Manthei, Partner, Latham & Watkins. Mr. Sachdev will discuss FDA's ongoing "Critical Path" initiative, which is intended, through collaboration between FDA, industry and academia, to facilitate the modernization of the drug and device development and approval process to keep pace with scientific innovation, resulting to quicker, more cost effective product approvals. Following a brief overview by Mr. Manthei, Mr. Sachdev will discuss the initiative in detail, and field questions on this and other significant regulatory matters at FDA.
