Corporate Governance: Current Trends in D&O Insurance

Increased corporate governance requirements make understanding of and decision-making for D&O insurance more important than ever for officers and directors of both public and private corporations. An experienced panel (Insurance broker, CEO/CFO, lawyer, investor/Board member) will provide their perspectives on current trends in D&O insurance, including when a corporation should have a policy, rate structures, coverage, exclusions and claim procedures. Other types of insurance coverage for officer and director risk management will also be addressed. The panel will identify strategies to help officers and their board make decisions regarding such insurance.
