The Entrepreneurs Gathering A Field Guide to the Perfect Pitch You've Got Only One Shot Entrepreneurs and Investors Only December 13, 2005 6-8 pm
Event Sponsors: The Entrepreneurs Network & VentureArchetypes
After many months of toiling in the garage, pulling many sleepless nights, hunting down customers, and maxxing your credit cards, you finally get the meeting you’ve been waiting for with a VC to pitch your company.
You’ve got one shot with a potential investor so you’d better make it count. Sometimes it’s as brief as a 30-second elevator pitch; if you’re lucky, you’ll get a full hour. Either way, you need to be prepared.
This hands-on, 2-hour presentation and workshop will walk entrepreneurs through the investor capital raise pitch and presentation process including a 30-minute overview of the “do’s and don’t’s” of presenting and an hour and a half of practice elevator pitches by attending entrepreneurs. Susan Boedy of VentureArchetypes, a boutique corporate development, business planning and venture strategy firm, along with several VCs, will provide feedback to practicing entrepreneurs.
So come with your best 30-second pitch and get ready to make your one shot a success!
