CEO VBEC Town Hall Meeting is a neutral forum for CEOs in venture-backed companies to meet, share perspectives, learn from each other and develop joint business opportunities
- The CEO Town Hall Meeting will bring together CEOs from venture-backed companies to network, raise common issues and meet informally
- At the beginning of each session, the attendees will introduce themselves so that they all can identify possible company synergies to be explored informally later on
- During the town hall, the Discussion Leader will serve as the focal point for questions and issues raised by the attendees and will create a top ten style list of issues and themes faced by CEOs, with the goal of fostering audience give and take
The emphasis will be on maximum networking and informal time with just enough structure to facilitate improved networking
DISCUSSION LEADER: Reed D. Taussig, President and CEO of ThreatMetrix Inc.
Mr. Taussig has more than 30 years of experience in the computer hardware and software field. In July of 2008 Mr. Taussig became president and CEO of ThreatMetrix Inc., a leading provider of SaaS device identification systems.. Prior to joining ThreatMetrix, Mr. Taussig was president and CEO of Vormetric Inc., a leader in the data privacy and protection industry. Under Mr. Taussig's direction Vormetric established itself as a leading provider of encryption solutions for the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).
Mr. Taussig also served as President and CEO of Callidus Software [NASDAQ:CALD], the leading provider of Enterprise Incentive Management application systems. As founding CEO and the fifth employee, Mr. Taussig led the growth of company to more than $70 million in revenues and over 350 employees.
Prior to Callidus Mr. Taussig was the President and CEO of inquiry.com, a pioneer in the B2B internet space as well as Senior Vice President of Operations for Gupta Technologies the leader for PC client server software development tools and databases. Mr. Taussig holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Arizona.
