WATER CRISIS: INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES AND EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES
Emerging Technology Forum panelists will examine new innovations and explore the challenges, risks and rewards of investment opportunities in domestic and international markets.
PALO ALTO, Calif. – April 14, 2008 – VC Taskforce announces the latest panel discussion in their emerging technology series to discuss the modern systems and innovative processes fueling technology upgrades in the water management sector. The panel will deliberate on pioneering techniques to prevail over the brewing crisis which have been further compounded by poor management of our water resources and climate changes due to global warming. Details include:
WHAT: “Water Crisis: Investment Opportunities and Emerging Technologies,” a provocative panel discussion analyzing the emerging venture prospects presented by the growing levels of drinking water scarcity facing communities worldwide. Innovative technologies to combat water shortages such as: reverse osmosis desalination systems, biotech for developing drought resistant crops, novel nano-scale materials for water remediation and new sensor technologies to monitor water usage will be investigated.
