Program Overview
Proposition 71 (Stem Cell Research) established California's Institute for Regenerative Medicine. It also authorized the issuance of general obligations bonds to finance the Institute's activities up to $3 billion subject to an annual limit of $350 million. Currently, human embryonic stem cell research for any purpose is allowed using private funds.

During this session, the speakers will try answer questions surrounding the initiative, including:
