Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter have emerged as leading social media platforms for consumers and have seen an increase in usage for business and enterprise. 

Is Web 2.0 destined to play a big role in Enterprise 2.0? What are the potential benefits, best practices and pitfalls? What businesses and which business activities are best suited to take advantage of it? Is new business development, sales, marketing , CRM, customer retention made more efficient by Web 2.0 platforms?  How can these platforms help the enterprise’s bottom line when they are still evolving?

How can enterprise software be integrated with the social media platforms?  How does an enterprise take advantage of open platforms and APIs that these platforms provide? Is interoperability and collaboration across the enterprise and extended enterprise assured or do workarounds need to be designed around roadblocks?  Will the social media platforms be customized for enterprise and will data mining be possible?
