Pitching Your Value Proposition
How to distill the essence of your value proposition into something short, meaningful, and effective
July 22, 2010 | 6:00-8:30 PM | Two Palo Alto Square | Palo Alto Event Sponsor: Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP
At the heart of effective communication is a crisp statement of what your company does. You may have only ten seconds to convey this message. It must impact the listener. A maximum of twenty-five words should describe your value proposition, preferably less. We’re talking about the opening of your elevator pitch, the hook at the beginning of an email, the tagline on your website, or maybe just a tweet.
Everyone in your company needs to be able to articulate a compelling value proposition in just a few words. What’s the trick? What works? What doesn’t work? Come find out!
If you are an entrepreneur and need to craft a value proposition , come to this VC Taskforce workshop. Learn from the discussions and critiques. The first 12 requesting a slot can pitch your value proposition and receive feedback and coaching from our expert panel. Please follow instructions below.
Entrepreneurs not yet ready to craft and pitch a value proposition are encouraged to register and attend. Listening to pitches and panel feedback will teach you key points to craft an effective value proposition statement in the future.
